The China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) recently handed down decisions for a series of patent infringement dispute cases between Huawei and Xiaomi, marking the conclusion of the second batch of CNIPA's administrative adjudication cases of major patent infringement disputes.

The 12th China Intellectual Property Annual Conference opened in Jinan on September 19. Zhou Naixiang, Governor of Shandong Province, Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), Wang Binying, Deputy Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Yu Haitian, Mayor of Jinan attended and spoke at the opening ceremony.

The 14th Meeting of China-ASEAN Heads of Intellectual Property Offices was held in Nanning, Guangxi Province on September 16. Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) presided over the meeting.
