The 2023 Seminar on Intellectual Property for Latin American Countries, hosted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and assisted by the Fujian Sub-Center, Patent Examination Cooperation (Beijing) Center of the CNIPA’s Patent Office

The 2023 Seminar on Intellectual Property for Latin American Countries, hosted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and assisted by the Fujian Sub-Center, Patent Examination Cooperation (Beijing) Center of the CNIPA's Patent Office, was held in Fuzhou recently. CNIPA Deputy Commissioner Lu Pengqi attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
The Seminar, with the theme of "Intellectual Property for the Development of SMEs", was attended by thirteen IP authority officials from seven countries – Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Jamaica, Peru and Uruguay. The Seminar introduced China's working experience in IP and organized attendees to local IP authorities and innovative enterprises for field trips, which offered useful experience benefiting their work back home.
